Morphy Richards Carrot and Swede Soup

A hearty and nutritious soup made with carrots and swede, perfect for warming up on a cold day.

Ingredients:

  • 500g carrots, peeled and chopped

  • 500g swede, peeled and chopped

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1

  • 2L vegetable stock

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

The Morphy Richards Soup Maker needs to have the carrots, swede, onion, and garlic in it


Add the vegetable stock


Add pepper and salt


Pick the "smooth soup" setting and time it for 25 minutes


Slowly take off the lid when the soup is done and blend it until it's smooth


Serve hot with fresh parsley on top

Minty Hibiscus Blackberry Popsicles

These refreshing popsicles combine the tartness of blackberries with the floral notes of hibiscus and the freshness of mint, creating a delightful treat perfect for cooling off on a hot day.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups blackberries

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers

  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions:

In a saucepan, combine water, hibiscus flowers, and honey

Add blackberries, mint leaves, and lemon juice to the blender


Blend until smooth


Pour the mixture into popsicle molds


Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid


Once frozen, remove from molds and enjoy!

This chickpea and avocado salad is great for the summer because it is cool and healthy. It's easy to make, full of protein and healthy fats, and it tastes great.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 1 ripe avocado, diced

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Put chickpeas, avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro in a large bowl


Add lemon juice and olive oil to the salad


Add pepper and salt to taste


Toss the ingredients together gently to mix them


Serve right away or put in the fridge until you're ready to serve

Instructions:

Enjoy all the flavors of lasagna in a comforting soup form. This super easy lasagna soup is perfect for the crockpot, and it's freezable for future delicious meals!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes

  • 1 can 15 oz tomato sauce

  • 1 can 6 oz tomato paste

  • 4 cups beef broth

  • 2 teaspoons dried basil

  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 cups uncooked mafalda or bowtie pasta

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Fresh basil, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat


Drain excess fat


Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet


Cook until onions are translucent


Transfer the beef mixture to a crockpot


Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, beef broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to the crockpot


Stir well


Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours


About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the uncooked pasta


In a small bowl, mix together mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan cheeses


Serve the soup hot, topped with a generous spoonful of the cheese mixture and fresh chopped basil

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups chocolate chips

  • 1 cup frosting of your choice

Instructions:

Warm your oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet


Melt the butter and mix it with the white sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy


Adding the eggs one at a time and mixing them in is the next step


Mix the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl


Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones one at a time and mix just until everything is combined


The chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in


Take about a tablespoon of cookie dough and press it down in your palm


Spread out the dough and put about a teaspoon of frosting in the middle of it


To make a ball, fold the dough's edges around the frosting to seal it


The stuffed cookie dough balls should be put on the baking sheet that has been prepared


Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake it for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown


Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way

Sparkling Strawberry Peach Punch

  • 2 cups sliced strawberries

  • 2 cups sliced peaches

Tea Sampler Cocktail

  • 2 oz gin

  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • Soda water, to top

Instructions:

Mix the loose leaf tea, gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker


It's time to shake the shaker well


Put some ice cubes in it and shake


Pour the mixture through a strainer into a glass that has ice cubes in it


Add more soda water and stir it in slowly


Put a lemon twist on top
